Welcome to a My Family’s Business Site. I am starting this business to support my family and it is important to be able to move and transport large storage and containers for my family. Registering and organizing this business is not easy. The world does not make it so.
First off you have to register for an LLC type business to protect against liability, that cost ~$280 from a tax and title place of business.
Then you have to make certain to be registered as a motor carrier, this is where things get expensive ($680), but nothing is more costly than the heartache of mistakes along the way. My new Motor Carrier Number is: MC-1194174. This story has a prequel of dastardly deeds and consequences of registering through the Arizona MVD third party provider: a semi truck title and registration (~$2,087). I will post more on this longer story a little later.
